Cancellations

Time to make the right decision

Updated 9 October 2026

We give you cancellation information before you sign. The applicable rights depend on how the contract is made and the goods and services supplied.

Your statutory cooling-off period

For qualifying off-premises or distance contracts, a 14-day cancellation period normally applies. For a services contract, it generally runs from the day after the contract is made. For a sales contract involving goods, it generally runs from the day after you receive the goods, or the last goods where separate deliveries apply. The exact period for your order must be stated in your cancellation information.

How to cancel

Send a clear statement saying you wish to cancel. You do not have to use a particular form. Include your name, installation address, order reference if available and the date of your order.

Call 0333 880 9359 or email solar@lovetosaveenergy.com. You can also write to Love to Save Energy Limited, Unit 8 Alvis Works, Common Lane Industrial Estate, Kenilworth, CV8 2EL.

Work during the cancellation period

Our standard policy is not to physically install the solar panels or battery until the applicable statutory cancellation period has expired. If you expressly request permitted survey, design or network services to begin earlier, we provide a separate request explaining the effect on cancellation and any lawful proportionate charges.

Refunds and other rights

We handle refunds, goods and any properly authorised services in accordance with applicable consumer law and your agreement. We do not impose a cancellation fee the law does not permit. Nothing here shortens a statutory period or removes rights relating to faulty goods or services.
