A SYSTEM THAT FITS YOUR LIFE
Every home is different. We’ll take time to understand yours, then help you compare solar panels on their own with the option of battery storage.

Trina solar panels turn daylight into electricity for your home. We’ll design your system around your roof and the energy you use.
An optional Fox battery stores some of the electricity you generate, ready for when you need it later. We’ll help you choose a size that suits your routine.
Savings depend on your electricity use, tariff, system design, weather and how much generated electricity you use at home. We’ll explain the assumptions in your proposal.
Tell us a little about your home and how you use electricity. If you have a recent bill, that’s helpful too.
We’ll talk you through your design, price and estimated performance, with time to ask questions and compare your options.
If you decide to go ahead, we’ll help with the survey, any required approvals and planning your installation.
YOUR QUESTIONS, ANSWERED
Choose a topic to find the answers you need.
We check the roof’s condition, usable space, direction and shading, as well as safe access and your electrical supply. South-facing roofs often perform well, but east- and west-facing roofs can also be suitable. Your survey confirms the design.
It depends on your available roof space, annual electricity use and future plans, such as an electric car or heat pump. We explain the panel count, total system size and estimated generation in your proposal.
No. Solar panels can work without one. A battery may help if you use more electricity in the evening or have a suitable time-of-use tariff. We can quote both options so you can compare.
We consider when you use electricity, how much surplus solar your system may produce and whether a cheaper overnight tariff suits you. A bigger battery is not always the most economical choice.
You can still enquire. Tell us about your home and routine, and we’ll explain any consumption assumptions. A recent bill or annual kWh figure helps make the recommendation more accurate.
We offer Trina Solar panels and Fox ESS inverter and battery options. Your written quotation identifies the exact models, capacity and manufacturer warranty terms before you decide.
Yes, panels generate electricity from daylight, although output usually falls in cloudy weather. They do not generate at night; your home then uses the grid or a charged battery.
Yes. Your home normally stays connected to the grid, so you can buy electricity when solar and any battery do not meet your needs. Your supplier’s standing charge usually still applies.
Eligible installations may receive export payments through the Smart Export Guarantee or another export tariff. Suppliers set their own rates and documentation requirements. We’ll explain the certification route proposed for your installation; tariff acceptance and income are not guaranteed.
Solar can operate without one, but export tariffs normally need a meter capable of recording half-hourly exports. Smart time-of-use tariffs may also require a working smart meter. Your electricity supplier can confirm the requirements.
Only if the system includes suitable backup equipment and wiring. A standard grid-connected solar and battery system does not automatically provide backup. Tell us before design if this matters to you.
Compatible Fox ESS equipment can use FoxCloud to show generation and system performance. Available views depend on the equipment and meter fitted. We explain the monitoring setup at handover.
Compatible systems can be scheduled to charge from the grid at cheaper times and supply your home later. The benefit depends on your tariff, battery losses and how you use electricity. We confirm the features supported by your quoted system.
Solar panels generally need little routine maintenance. Follow your equipment’s care instructions, watch for monitoring alerts and keep any recommended checks up to date. Never climb onto your roof to inspect or clean panels yourself.
It is a starting price for a solar system, subject to survey and specification. Your quotation confirms the equipment, installation scope, access arrangements, applicable VAT and total price. Battery storage and any additional works are confirmed in that quotation.
Savings depend on your system, roof, electricity use, tariff, weather and how much generated energy you use at home. We provide property-specific estimates and explain the assumptions. Estimates are not guaranteed savings.
For a self-funded installation, our standard terms are a 25% deposit after signing and 75% on completion after commissioning and handover. If you arrange finance, its payment and repayment terms are set out separately in the lender’s agreement.
Many domestic roof installations fall within permitted development rules, but exceptions apply. Listed buildings, protected locations and some designs need further checks. Tell us about any restrictions so responsibilities can be agreed before work starts.
Your Distribution Network Operator manages the local electricity network. Depending on the system, a notification or prior connection approval may be needed. We explain the applicable route, any export limits and the work included in your quotation.
The time depends on your system, roof access and electrical work. We confirm the expected programme after survey. Scaffolding, weather and network approvals can affect the overall timetable.
Your statutory cancellation rights depend on how the contract is made and the goods and services supplied. We provide a cancellation notice and form before signature. See our cancellation page for how to tell us if you wish to cancel.
Your written agreement sets out our workmanship warranty and any insurance-backed guarantee. Manufacturer warranties for the panels, inverter and battery are separate. We provide the relevant terms for the equipment installed.
We’ll discuss your home and energy use, explain your options and arrange the information needed for a written quotation. Sending an enquiry does not place an order or commit you to an installation.
